  1. Perhaps it can be said that the greatest trick of the Devil is convincing everyone that he isn't God.
  2. The merciless often obtain mercy, and the merciful seldom do. Could this be because mercy is seen as weakness by human beings, and so despised by the weak and the strong alike? Whereas the oppressor, the bully, the tyrant, embodies a virility that is admired by the strong and feared by the weak. Thus the strong and the evil are given solicitude when they are struck down, the weak fearing what might happen if they do not render mercy, the strong identifying with a fallen oppressor like themselves that embodies the raw force that they admire. This truth makes it clear that Man has not progressed very far past the animals; and is in fact less than they are. The loyalty of a dog is often worth more than the provisional self-interested loyalty of a human being.
  3. Freedom and Democracy means an unlimited choice of roles of servitude in a Plutocratic economy. It is like being able to choose what kinds of chains one is fitted with. Like the survey Stalin sent to all of the Russian people asking them what method of execution they might prefer, should they get on the bad side of the Central Committee. Democracy grinds the working man into dust, but at least gives him a choice in the methods and modes by which he will be pulverized. How noble!
  4. Law and Order defined: A means of enforcing social cohesion so the ruling class and the state can monopolize crime. The means is law, the aim is domination of the masses and disallowing them the benefits of criminality, because crime is too good to be entrusted to the peasants. Only the managerial elites and the rich are allowed its province. Law is the means of legalized crime, legal for the rich and illegal for the poor.
  5. Man is hypocritical in exact measure to the ideals he espouses. Open the palace gates of human pretension, and find within nothing but the rotting corpses of good serving the greater evil.
  6. Love defined: The methodology of barter for the artifacts of human pathos.
  7. A politician defined: A suger-daddy/whore who sells to the highest bidder and screws everyone but himself.
