I have often been accused of having less than the greatest esteem for America and Americans. This is in some ways true. But even though I am critical of the ruling institutions of society, I do not hate the people of America, but can only look upon them with tremendous pity. They are like lost children that are wandering into an abyss, and just staring blankly into space; concerned with their own hectic, small lives, while the current crop of political elites are doing everything they can to destroy the United States. I have seen many administrations come and go in Washington and the White House, but I have never seen a bunch like this; so totally self-destructive and wholly predictable to its enemies. I think America's leaders unconsciously are perceiving a terrible truth: America is no longer a superpower, but is in a state of profound decline, and the present forays of imperialism are little more than death spasms. The Soviets had the last laugh. They knew that the Cold War was what created the socio-economic, geopolitical stability of the USA. That even though the Soviet regime was destroyed by the excessive cost of the arms race, that with the end of the Cold War, the world groupings of nations and economies would realign, and without Washington as a buffer to Moscow, the USA would begin to lose influence, clout, and importance in the world. The world has come into its own, and America has to learn to deal with it. America's deficit is through the roof, and needs the good will of Europe and Russia, as well as Eurasia and the Arab World. If they all just decided to devalue our currency by inflating their own, and dumping dollars on the currency market as worthless to create a panic, enacted trade sanctions and disinvested, they could bring the USA to its knees. America is not unilateral, but profoundly dependent upon the rest of the world. It needs to act accordingly, and not remain locked up into the Cold War syndrome of foreign policy. But America is doing the opposite of these things, and playing into the hands of its enemies. The USA has enraged the Arab World through its support of Zionism and its own imperialistic policies. By doing so it is weakening moderate Arab regimes and creating hotbeds of fundamentalism. The USA has defied the consensus of most of Europe, and is alienating its allies during a time when it is most dependent on them. America is funding an insane war that we cannot afford in Iraq, while people here are becoming more and more desperate. The ranks of the poor are skyrocketing, and unemployment is at record highs. America has the highest infant mortality and mortality rate of any country outside of the Third World, due to malnutrition and lack of medical care. Our soldiers are given inferior weapons and are treated like cannon-fodder, living on food-stamps, where fat generals drive in limos and live in mansions. America's resource is its people, and the people are becoming weakened, demoralized, and many are just giving up. The current leadership is on a course that is suicidal, and is being encouraged by its enemies to stay on this course; by being goaded into the predictable game of being teased into flexing its muscles and using up the strength of the nation in self-destructive moves, by those who know this will happen if all they have to do is challange America's strength and sureness, or lure it into madness by the chimera of more power and profit. And the leadership takes the bait. America is making Soviet Russia's mistake: Spreading itself so thin economically that it will collapse, and ensuring the ill-will of the world so when the axe falls everyone will not only not help but take advantage of the situation. A superpower cannot be a debtor nation, if those to whom it is in debt call in all their markers. And America cannot count on the goodwill of bankers like Rothschild, Kuhn, Loeb, etc., simply by continuing to support Zionism. If America becomes a basketcase, it will be hung out to dry, and the bankers will exploit cheap labor in the USA but make their investments elsewhere, like China or Europe. And what will happen when it all comes apart? We will have Bosnia and Yugoslavia writ large. There is no real coherence that holds America together anymore. Just all being workers and consumers is not enough, when the test of mettle and sacrifice announces itself. There are too many people that tolerate each other, but deep down hate each other. Those advocates of multiculturalism, will get to see their handiwork in action when it all falls apart. People of different races, creeds, political beliefs, and former economic status will tear each other to pieces. People will be killing each other for food and water, after the middle classes and rich have either fled or stayed behind to get dispossessed of their goods and killed. The army and police will refuse to restore order, once they stop getting paid and start starving with the rest. This is America in the next five years. Can we really afford to make the world our enemy, and destabilize geopolitical alliances with allies and neutrals in a way where they will be turned into mortal enemies? To pour gasoline on the fires of Arab hatred? When it all collapses we will be lucky if the rest of the world is merely indifferent, and does not force a nuclear war, or come and make slaves out of us once the USA starts to resemble Afghanistan. There is a price to pay for being a bulldog, that can be goaded into attacking granite and breaking its teeth over-and-over. After a while the dog will have no teeth, and no friends either. America can start by apologizing to Germany and France in regards to their policies on the Iraq war. They were and are right. |
